Welcome to MAK Design and Paint Color Solutions! My name is Michelle Kapeller, Owner and Designer, serving the southeast Michigan area. With more than twenty years of experience in the furniture and interior design industry, I am able to harness a significant amount knowledge in a wide range of interior design topics. I understand how even the smallest design decisions can be overwhelming, but I assure you they don't have to be!
Whether you are selecting paint colors, remodeling, purchasing new furniture, or beginning a new build, my goal is to customize the design selections for your lifestyle, and personal aesthetic, all while working to make the design process as enjoyable as possible! I begin each project with a brief consultation to understand your personal style, as well as to establish the goals of your project and specific needs for the space.
My experience in design has prepared me to make your space feel current without being too trendy. This approach will help your new design from feeling outdated in just a few months or even years. No matter how big or small your project, I will treat each design decision with the same amount of passion and thoughtful decision making.
